		1950-1955..Throughout the years 1950 to 1955, I attended King Edward VI School Stourbridge, and during the lunch break, would travel on the "Town Dodger", from Stourbridge Town to Stourbridge Junction, giving me half an hour or so at the latter. The Dodger was a 14xx class 0-4-2T plus one auto coach (two or 3 on Saturdays if the "Baggies" were at home). The locos, 1414, 1438, or 1458, were at town end of the train, and the driving compartment was at the junction end. And the sliding door to the driving compartment was always left open. And several of the drivers allowed me to sit in the driving compartment for the short journey, which included waving to the girls as we passed the High Schools playing fields.
